Our founder, Cemal Erdoğan, with a visionary approach, introduced Turkey's first intensive care type mechanical ventilator, Biyovent, and initiated conceptual design studies.
Biosys was founded by our team, which consists of specialist doctors and engineers. We officially commenced our innovation journey after receiving Technopreneurship Capital Support (TGSD).
The first prototype of Biyovent, which combined engineering precision with clinical principles, was successfully completed.
We received support from KOSGEB for our R&D studies focused on Biyovent. Driven by our commitment to developing innovative technologies aligned with market needs, we accelerated efforts to prepare the Biovent Version 2.0 release.
The improved 2.0 version of Biyovent was made available for use by the healthcare sector. As a step in our corporate growth, our new office in Bilkent Cyberpark became operational.
Our Biyovent project was approved and supported by TÜBİTAK. Empowered by this support, our team initiated the development process for Biovent Version 3.0, which will advance our ventilation technology.
Biyovent 3.0, developed in light of clinical trials and feedback from the field, was released. We reached a major milestone as our device met the highest international standards by receiving CE certification.
We received our first local order for Biyovent, and during this period, we opened up to the global market by realizing our first successful export. Concurrently, we initiated R&D studies for OBOGS and portable respiratory devices.
Our R&D team moved beyond respiratory devices and introduced the idea of developing the Neuromonitor device, which is used in surgical operations. In the same year, we took the first R&D steps for endoscopic capsule technology.
The mass production of Biyovent 3.0 was strengthened through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as Arçelik, Aselsan, and Baykar. We also initiated development efforts for humidifier and High-Flow Oxygen (HFO) devices. We relocated to our new address at the METU Technokent office.
The developed Humidifier, Neuromonitor, and High-Flow Oxygen (HFO) devices received their CE certifications. Concurrently, we reinforced our commitment to providing innovative and certified medical solutions by beginning the mass production of our Bio2Flow device.
In line with our goal of corporate expansion and increasing our production capacity, we held the groundbreaking ceremony for our factory to be established in Batman. This step demonstrated our commitment to contributing to the regional economy.
We commenced mass production for both our Humidifier device and the Neuromonitor, achieving full capacity production across all of our main product groups.
The construction of our modern factory in the Batman Organized Industrial Zone has been completed, and the facility has officially opened. This plant boasts 8 thousand square meters of indoor space, represents an investment value of 150 million Turkish Lira, and has a monthly production capacity of 1,200 devices. The facility symbolizes our commitment to the future by providing employment for 100 people.
